The obvious issue when Hamsalekha was around is the ‘Dubbing’ topic that came up in the chat with national award winning music director and lyricists who has contributed hugely via ‘Hamsalekha Desi College’ propagating music and art.

·        ALL the heroes from all areas in Bengaluru and other parts should unite together on the dubbing topic. The law and rule change should not be accepted in the dubbing issue. We have liberty in our own law. We have leaders building the state from Kannada language. Kalavidara, Lekhakara, Nirmapakara Sangha should become strong.

·        The major hit that has come after five decades we should sustain it and show a growth from this pain. We have been recognized from our ‘Kannada’ language. It is ‘Rajya Bhashe’ when trouble erupt it is duty of present generation to unite together in showcasing the need of the language.

·        There are some people who are having ‘Vesha’ in the dubbing issue. They should give up the double standards. The language should be one issue. Other issues become very miniscule.

·        The heroes who speak about the language in their films should actually show it in real life. ‘Adiddu Maadi Torisbeku’. Upholding ‘Naithikathe’ is fundamental duty.

·        It is like ‘Thaayi Magu Sambanda’ when the issue of language comes. Pradeshika Rakshane is very important. Kannada is the right of this state. For Kannada language ‘Vidhushakana’ place is not right way.

·        This is the time of whole world in mobile. The youths have come to the extent of saying let there be corruption but work should be done. How is this possible to allow corruption?

·        We have to change the mindset of youths to better. I see many having love towards language.

·        Hamsalekha a visionary in music, culture and art says the present day makers should mix up the tradition and ‘parampare’ of our state to the cinema. There are very brilliant makers.

·        What I see is ‘Battle, Bottle and Keetale’ in our writers. What the ancestors have written it has changed. What Chi Udayashanker ji written, I have changed to some extent. Yogaraj Bhat has made further changes.

·        We should first stop making remakes. I remember Rockline Venkatesh at this stage. He made remakes here and won tremendously in original Hindi film ‘Bhajarangi Baijaan’.

·        Rockline Venkatesh has that original taste in fact. He has 20 persons so far with good subjects. He has not executed it later is another matter.

·        Recently I have seen 80 music directors. Waah! So many are distributed from my work I felt. The point of injecting good to the present generation is our responsibility.

·        Hamsalekha Desi College is progressing. The train has come on the right track. The autonomous University is also on the cards. As of now Mysooru University and Karnataka State Open University have recognized this college of art and music.

·        I know what Sir M Vishveswarayya told to Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar after watching Jog Falls. When Wodeyar said to Sir MV what a beauty, Sir MV told what a waste. This is how we learn things in our life.

·        In the linkage and package I see leakage. Our colleagues accept work on package. They are suffering from it. The leakage in this case is loss of quality.

·        When I started writing KSL Swamee said ‘Aadu Mathu’ Barabaradu. Now ‘Aadabarada Mathu’ is coming in songs.

·        I see a bright prospect in my student Mohan a singer and composer of Hamsalekha Desi College. I see the tremendous patience and good work in Shashank director of Kannada films. Patience to learn, hear and work is very important. Look at K Raghavendra Rao, Bhargava, D Rajendra Babu…Where there is Prathibe, there is Vishwasa. Vinaya automatically comes.
